OASIS Group case study; around 2020-2022, 2dA was involved as the digitisation party inside the project chain.

Starting point

Meander Medisch Centrum needed paper medical records to remain available while retention periods, storage costs and the move to a new hospital building changed the practical reality. The total volume was large: 666,000 medical records, around 7,000 metres of paper.

  • 2dA delivered the specialist digitisation work within that chain.
  • Records were scanned flat and made searchable with OCR at word level.
  • The digital result created a usable basis for retrieval, storage reduction and further access.
